Christian, how does the Lord's Supper signify and seal to you that you share in Christ's one sacrifice on the cross and in all His gifts? In this way: Christ has commanded me and all believers to eat of this broken bread and drink of this cup in remembrance of Him. With this command He gave these promises: First, as surely as I see with my eyes the bread of the Lord broken for me and the cup given to me, so surely was His body offered for me and His blood poured out for me on the cross. Second, as surely as I receive from the hand of the minister and taste with my mouth the bread and the cup of the Lord as sure signs of Christ's body and blood, so surely does He Himself nourish and refresh my soul to everlasting life with His crucified body and shed blood.
Scripture Song “The Steadfast Love of the Lord Never Ceases” Lamentations 3:22,23
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never come to an end. They are new ev’ry morning, new ev’ry morning; great is Thy faithfulness, O Lord, Great is Thy faithfulness, O Lord, great is Thy faithfulness.

*Opening Hymn “God, All Nature Sings Thy Glory” Hymnal #122

Christian, how was Christ humiliated? Christ's humiliation consisted in his being born in poverty, made under the law, suffering the miseries of this life, the wrath of God, and the cursed death of the cross; in being buried, and continuing under the power of death for a time. And, how is Christ exalted? Christ's exaltation consists in his rising again from the dead on the third day, in ascending up into heaven, in sitting at the right hand of God the Father, and in coming to judge the world on the last day.
Scripture Song “He is Lord” CCLI # 11156644
He is Lord, He is Lord, He is risen from the dead and He is Lord! Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord. (repeat)
